Black bear diner boise menu2/18/2024 ![]() ![]() When I called to speak with the manager I was put on hold for over 10 minutes only for him to come on and hang up the phone. My daughter's boyfriend of various breakfast meats and pancakes was subpar and cold, as well as uncooked hash browns. My daughter's french toast, eggs, and hash browns, again with cold hash browns, her over medium eggs were uncooked. My son's chicken-fried steak with hash browns and eggs had cold uncooked hash browns. The meatloaf, mashed potatoes w/gravy, and vegetables are nowhere to be found, but 2 large salads and a cold cornbread muffin were all I had. She hands me my 2 bags of food and I drive home. Keep in mind this is a $72.21/4 meal order I have paid for, but sure I'll take a salad I could have made at home. It was then decided mutually that she would give me what meatloaf she had and give me a larger salad. Not what I really wanted to eat pie after a hard day at the hospital, so I refused the offer since I was really looking forward to a warm meal. I asked how that could be rectified to which she stated she could give me a pie. I was then notified by Mary that my diner meatloaf meal would be short of 1.5 slices of meatloaf. the diner where it was instantly given to the Ubereats driver (let's hope those people like their food with random germs, but don't worry we have all be vaccinated). When I arrived I was given a bag of food, when I got to my car I noticed it was someone else's food. I ordered my meal online for a 6:08 pick-up. I would like to share my dining experience with you. To say nothing about the poor quality of the food. $40 for breakfast and listening to that was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have encountered. I will not be returning to Black Bear to eat and told the manager, Debi, so. It is adolescent behavior and poor work ethic to demonstrate as he did in the dining area for all to hear. Whether or not I agree with the current administration is not the point. I will return tomorrow to see if he is working. She said she did not hear the employee but would go talk with him and, I believe, she said she would suspend him. I then called the manager, Debi, to ask if the management condoned and encouraged such poor judgement and behavior. I mentioned it to the cashier who gave a half-hearted apology. ![]() No other employee tried to stop the behavior. I do not go out to eat to listen to the employees' standing on politics - especially in the middle of the dining area. and began clapping his hands over his head yelling "Let's Go Brandon" and hyped-up a portion of the diners to join in with him - which they did. During our stay there, a male employee walked out of the kitchen. Understanding that the staffing level is down, we did not complain or return the undercooked pancakes or the cup of jalapenos in the breakfast bowl. Visited the State Street location (Boise) on. 2 suit spider solitaire free2/18/2024 ![]() All three of these cards cannot be moved together because they are not in sequence. The 10 and the Jack can only be moved once the Ace is moved. In the below example, you’ll see there is an Ace on top of the 10. When cards are drawn from the stock pile, you may have sequences that are no longer ordered. You’ll draw from the stock pile five times over the course of the game, drawing 50 cards in total. If you can not sequence any more cards on tableau, draw out 10 more cards, face-up, to each of the 10 piles in order to keep the game moving. This will reveal a new card, which can then be sequenced. If only face-down cards remain in a column as face up cards are moved, turn the last face-down card over. ![]() In the below example, you can move the 10 and 9 of Spades on top of the Jack of Spades. You can move a group of cards in a column as a single unit to another pile if they are all in descending order of the same suit.Build a sequence of cards in the piles by moving any face-up card on top of a card with the next-highest value, such as a 9 of spades moving onto a 10 of spades.Once all the cards are moved to the foundation, you win! Available Moves ![]() You can add cards to the tableau 10 at a time, with 1 card each going into each tableau column.įoundation: When cards in the tableau are arranged from Ace to King, they are then placed in one of the 8 foundation piles. Stock pile: After cards are dealt into the tableau, the remaining 50 cards go to the stock pile. Here, you will try to arrange cards by suit, from Ace to King. Tableau: These are the ten columns of 54 cards, where where the first 4 columns have 6 cards and the last 5 columns have 5 cards. The game is won when each foundation is filled with suit-stacked cards, arranged from King to Ace, and no cards remain in the tableau. Whenever you complete a sequence, you move those cards from the tableau to one of the eight foundations. Your goal is to arrange and sequence the cards in the columns along the tableau in descending order, from King to Ace. There are three difficulty levels in Spider Solitaire with 1 Suit being the easiest, 2 Suits being medium difficulty, and 4 Suits being the hardest. High pitched lung sounds2/18/2024 ![]() ![]() Normal lung tissue acts as a low-pass filter in that it allows low-frequency sounds to move through easily while filtering high-frequency sounds. Rubs are most often confused with crackles but are distinguished by the rub's biphasic, localized quality, often with overlying point pain on the chest wall. Rubs usually occur during both inspiration and expiration at a mirrored point in the respiratory cycle. It is usually louder than other lung sounds due to its generation closer to the chest wall. Like wheezes, stridor is produced by airway narrowing, but only in the upper airways.Ī rub is a grating sound coming from inflamed pleura rubbing against one another. It is distinguished from other sounds by its intensity in the neck more so than the chest, timing (inspiratory), and pitch (high). Stridor is a high-pitched sound originating from the upper airway and occurring on inspiration. Interestingly, physicians often agree on auscultation of wheezing, but less so for other findings, such as crackles. These sounds occur during expiration, or both inspiration and expiration, but they do not occur in inspiration alone. Rhonchi are coarse, loud sounds caused by constricted larger airways, including the tracheobronchial passages. Wheezes are musical sounds caused by air movement through constricted small airways, such as bronchioles. Wheezes and rhonchi, which have the same pathology and are separated only by pitch, are produced by the fluttering of narrowed airways and the air that flows through them. ![]() Some have compared to separating hook-and-loop fasteners (e.g., velcro). The difference between the course and fine crackles is believed to come from the size of the airway snapping open (larger airways, deeper pitched, courser crackles). Therefore, they are predominantly inspiratory. ![]() The next thing to note is the pitch: wheezes and fine crackles are high pitched, whereas rhonchi and coarse crackles are low pitched.Ĭrackles are generated by small airways snapping open on inspiration. Crackles could be counted by the examiner as discrete acoustic events. For example, rhonchi and wheezes are continuous sounds whereas crackles are not. The first trait that assists in the classification of adventitious sounds is whether the sounds are continuous or intermittent. ![]() For instance, crackles and rales refer to the same finding many terms are used interchangeably and vary by the clinician and geographic location of the practice. These terms are generally redundant with, or sub-categories of, the ones noted below. There are many other terms that are used to describe adventitious sounds, which are too numerous to cover. Stridor and rubs will also be discussed here. The most commonly heard adventitious sounds include crackles, rhonchi, and wheezes. The intensity and duration of breath sounds is also clinically significant and will be covered in detail below.Īdventitious sounds refer to sounds that are heard in addition to the expected breath sounds mentioned above. Note that the terms high and low pitch are defined by the American Thoracic Society Committee as 400hz or greater and 200hz or less, respectively, although the actual frequencies of these sounds may violate that official rule. They are commonly heard over the upper third of the anterior chest. If heard in other areas of the lung, bronchial sounds are abnormal. In contrast, vesicular breath sounds are soft, low pitched, predominantly inspiratory, and appreciated especially well at the posterior lung bases. Bronchovesicular sounds can be heard during inspiration and expiration and have a mid-range pitch and intensity. They are predominantly heard during expiration. Loud, harsh, and high pitched bronchial sounds are typically heard over the trachea or at the right apex. Bronchial sounds (also called tubular sounds) normally arise from the tracheobronchial tree and vesicular sounds normally arise from the finer lung parenchyma. Normal breath sounds are classified as bronchial, vesicular, or bronchovesicular, which have different acoustic properties based on anatomical characteristics of the location where you are auscultating. The lungs produce three categories of sounds that clinicians appreciate during auscultation : breath sounds, adventitious sounds, and vocal resonance.įor the purpose of this article, we refer to breath sounds as the normal lung sounds heard through the chest wall with the use of a stethoscope, rather than audible breathing through the mouth. In this article, we will focus on auscultation of lung sounds, which are useful in predicting chest pathology when considered alongside the clinical context. The pulmonary exam includes multiple components, including inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation. ![]()

![]() Some sociologists see the online world contributing to the creation of an emerging global culture. In education, examples of dysfunction include getting bad grades, truancy, dropping out, not graduating, and not finding suitable employment.įigure 2. Social processes that have undesirable consequences for the operation of society are called dysfunctions. ![]() Latent functions can be beneficial, neutral, or harmful. Another latent function of education is creating a hierarchy of employment based on the level of education attained. Latent functions of your college years include meeting new people, participating in extracurricular activities, or even finding a spouse or partner. A manifest function of college education, for example, includes gaining knowledge, preparing for a career, and finding a good job that utilizes that education. Manifest functions are the consequences of a social process that are sought or anticipated, while latent functions are the unsought consequences of a social process. Protestants were more likely to commit suicide than Catholics in Durkheim’s society, and his work on this topic demonstrated the utility of theory for sociological research.Īnother noted structural functionalist, Robert Merton (1910–2003), pointed out that social processes often have many functions. Durkheim gathered a large amount of data about Europeans who had ended their lives, and he did indeed find differences based on religion. ![]() He studied social ties within a group, or social solidarity, and hypothesized that differences in suicide rates might be explained by religion-based differences. For example, one function of a society’s laws may be to protect society from violence, while another is to punish criminal behavior, while another is to preserve public safety.Īlthough suicide is generally considered an individual phenomenon, Émile Durkheim was interested in studying the social factors that affect it. Each of these social facts serves one or more functions within a society. Social facts are the laws, morals, values, religious beliefs, customs, fashions, rituals, and all of the cultural rules that govern social life (Durkheim 1895). Durkheim believed that individuals may make up society, but in order to study society, sociologists have to look beyond individuals to social facts. Durkheim believed that society is a complex system of interrelated and interdependent parts that work together to maintain stability (Durkheim 1893), and that society is held together by shared values, languages, and symbols. Émile Durkheim, another early sociologist, applied Spencer’s theory to explain how societies change and survive over time. The parts of society that Spencer referred to were the social institutions, or patterns of beliefs and behaviors focused on meeting social needs, such as government, education, family, healthcare, religion, and the economy. He argued that just as the various organs of the body work together to keep the body functioning, the various parts of society work together to keep society functioning (Spencer 1898). ![]() Functionalism grew out of the writings of English philosopher and biologist, Herbert Spencer (1820–1903), who saw similarities between society and the human body. Structural-functional theory, also called functionalism, sees society as a structure with interrelated parts designed to meet the biological and social needs of the individuals in that society. Functionalism emphasizes how various social institutions work together to meet the needs of a society. ![]()

Soccer number 11 position2/17/2024 ![]() ![]() Left-Side Forward Soccer Position Numbers In Different Formations. ![]() In the most commonly used 4-3-3 formation, the numbers correspond to the following positions: Regardless of the formation played, the position numbers will always be numbers 1 to 11, with each number referring to a player’s position or role on the field. Soccer position numbers are numbers that correspond to a particular position on the field. In youth soccer, players usually re-choose their numbers at the start of a new uniform cycle with new players to the squad getting to choose from those numbers leftover. Players usually keep their numbers from season to season but can change it if, for example, a new marquee player joins the squad and wants a specific number or someone retires or leaves the team and a new number becomes available. Players often get to pick their own number and it usually ranges from 1-99, with most players choosing the lower numbers. Within a professional soccer squad, everyone is assigned a number which is placed upon the back of the player’s jersey along with their name. And so it’s best to think of players’ jersey numbers or squad numbers, as completely separate from position numbers, which we will detail later. Although certain professional players, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, have built their brand around a certain jersey number (7), in youth soccer a player’s jersey number just corresponds to the squad number they picked at the start of the season.Īlthough the numbers on the back of soccer players’ jerseys can correlate with their position on the field, they often do not. What’s the meaning of a soccer player’s jersey number? Essentially nothing.
